Udayana University Student, Muhammad Maheswara Aryasatya, Wins First Place in the LLDikti Region VIII Pilmapres Selection

Mataram, July 6, 2025 – A student of Udayana University, Muhammad Maheswara Aryasatya, has once again demonstrated academic excellence by winning First Place in the Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) for universities under the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region VIII. The selection event was held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Al-Azhar Islamic University, Mataram.

Following closely behind in second place was a student from the University of Mataram (Unram), and third place went to a student from the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha).

This year’s Pilmapres selection involved 28 students from both Bachelor’s and Diploma levels, who had previously passed the preliminary screening out of a total of 38 registrants. Participants came from various universities across Bali and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), including 17 students from private universities (PTS) and 3 from public universities (PTN) in Bali, as well as 6 students from PTS and 2 from PTN in NTB. In total, 18 students competed at the Bachelor's level and 10 at the Diploma level.

The participants were evaluated by a panel of four professional judges, each focusing on a specific category Dr. Drs. I Wayan Santiyasa, M.Si – Assessor for the Creative Idea Presentation, I Gede Putu Krisna Juliharta, ST., MT – Assessor for the Innovative Product Presentation, Dr. I Komang Budiarta, S.Pd., M.Hum., M.Pd – Assessor for Document Verification and Outstanding Achievements, Dr. Abdul Muhid, S.Pd., M.Pd – Assessor for English Proficiency

This selection determined the top three finalists from both the Bachelor's and Diploma levels who will go on to represent LLDikti Region VIII at the National Pilmapres 2025.

In a separate statement, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs of Udayana University, Prof. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, expressed his congratulations on Muhammad Maheswara’s outstanding achievement. He encouraged continued dedication in preparing for the national stage, hoping to repeat or even exceed last year’s national victory.
