THE DUTA OF DENMARK FOR INDONESIA SHARES SCIENCE TO UDAYANA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Denpasar - Monday (19/03), The Denmark Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen, visited Bali to share his knowledge and insights to hundreds of students across the majors at Udayana University. The event, held in the form of a seminar entitled Ambassador Lecture, was conducted thanks to the cooperation between the Danish Embassy in Jakarta and the Center for International Program (CIP) of Udayana University. This activity itself was held in Aula Nusantara Agrokomplek Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, with a duration of two hours from 14.00 WITA to 16.00 WITA.

On the occasion of Ambassador Lecture Activities, the Danish Ambassador based in Indonesia addresses the topic of discussion entitled Climate Change and the Need for a Green Transition, including Denmark's Experience to be the material for Udayana University students. On that occasion, the Danish Ambassador shared knowledge about alternative environmentally friendly technologies that are expected to continue to be developed in Indonesia. H.E Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen gave an example of the development of power generation technology in Denmark, which has mostly used environmentally friendly technology. The technology can help in minimizing global warming and improving environmental quality especially air because it does not produce pollution as well as the use of coal technology.

In addition to sharing knowledge on the environment, H.E Rsmus Abildgaard Kristensen also informed Udayana University students about the offer to continue studying in Denmark. Students are given full information about life in Denmark if they have a desire to continue their education there.
