Udayana University Receives Monitoring and Evaluation Visit for the MKWK Learning Model Development Grant Program

Jimbaran – Udayana University welcomed the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) Team for the 2025 Project-Based Mandatory Courses in Higher Education Curriculum (MKWK) Learning Model Development Grant Program on Thursday (13/11/2025) at the LP3M Building, Jimbaran Campus.

This activity was part of a series of Monev sessions conducted by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa), Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek), for several grant recipient universities, including Tadulako University, Mulia University, and Udayana University.

The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Udayana University, the Acting Chair of LP3M, lecturers, and students. The Monitoring and Evaluation Team included Prof. Dr. Antonius Nanang Tyasbudi Puspito, M.Sc., Nur Masyitah Syam, S.E., Dian Anggraini, and Ahmad Zuliansyah Dwi Putra.

In his remarks, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., stated that Udayana University is strongly committed to implementing the MKWK program on campus. “Many of our lecturers have the competence required to teach the course on Strengthening the Ideological Profile of Pancasila (PPIP), although administratively some of them do not yet fully meet the qualifications. We continue to encourage the proper implementation of MKWK learning in accordance with regulations,” he said.

He also expressed appreciation to the Belmawa Team for the trust given to Udayana University. “We thank the Belmawa team for their support. We hope that this program can be implemented according to the submitted proposal, and that all expected outputs can be achieved properly. Moving forward, the university together with LP3M will prepare policies and guidelines, including Rector Regulations, so that the implementation of MKWK becomes more structured, solid, and aligned with proper learning procedures,” he added.

Meanwhile, Nur Masyitah Syam, S.E., as the Curriculum and Learning Outcomes Coordinator of the Monev Team, explained that this grant program is a form of commitment by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in carrying out the mandate of Law Number 12 of 2012 on Higher Education.

“Every higher education institution is required to implement four mandatory curriculum courses, namely Religious Education, Pancasila, Civics, and Indonesian Language. These four courses must be offered independently, with a minimum of two credits or more. Through this grant program, we encourage universities to develop MKWK learning models that are innovative, contextual, and project-oriented,” she explained
