Cleaning Plastic Remnants in Mangrove Roots in a series of World Earth Day (WEDA) 2022 Events

The Semi-Autonomous Body of the Environmentally Concerned Student Community, FK Unud, held an activity to clean up plastic residue in mangrove roots as a series of events from the 2022 World Earth Day (WEDA) Student Community Concerned for the Environment with the theme "Invest in Our Planet: How Your Contribution Can Save the World". held at Akame Benoa.

 

This event was attended and opened directly by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information

Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, S.Ked., MPH., Ph.D., in his speech he expressed his hope that the activities organized by KMPL can increase the knowledge of the participants and can be a form of real action for caring for the environment and by holding this WEDA activity it can make people aware of the importance of actions taken by everyone for the sustainability of this earth.

 

Also attending this event were representatives of BEM, Chair of KMPL, Chair of the 2022 WEDA Committee, and Mangrove Ranger.

 

WEDA KMPL 2022 was held with the aim of commemorating World Earth Day and increasing students' knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the dangers of waste.
