Udayana University Inaugurates and Administers Oaths to 846 Government Employees with Employment Contracts (PPPK) in 2025
Jimbaran – Udayana University (Unud) held the Inauguration and Oath-Taking Ceremony for Government Employees with Employment Contracts (PPPK) for the year 2025 within the Udayana University environment. The ceremony took place at the Widya Sabha Auditorium, Jimbaran Campus, on Tuesday (December 16, 2025).
The inauguration and oath-taking ceremony was conducted in accordance with the mandate of the Regulation of the State Civil Service Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2019, as amended by Regulation Number 18 of 2020, which requires every prospective PPPK to be formally inaugurated and to take an oath/pledge of office before assuming their duties.
In his remarks, the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D., stated that the inauguration and oath-taking of PPPK mark the starting point of service to the state and serve as an important momentum that signifies the beginning of moral, ethical, and professional responsibilities as state civil servants within Udayana University.
“Today’s inauguration is not merely an administrative formality, but the beginning of your commitment to serve the nation and the state, particularly in supporting the implementation of the tridharma of higher education and improving the quality of public services at Udayana University,” said the Rector.
In 2025, Udayana University officially inaugurated and administered oaths to 846 PPPK, consisting of 30 academic staff (lecturers) and 816 educational support staff. The PPPK academic staff include 25 individuals holding the functional position of Assistant Expert and 5 individuals holding the functional position of Lecturer.
The Rector emphasized that the number of PPPK inaugurated is not merely a statistic, but reflects the institution’s high expectations for the tangible contributions of PPPK in strengthening academic services, administrative functions, health services, and other supporting services at Udayana University.
In his address, the Rector also reminded all newly inaugurated PPPK to uphold the values contained in their oath of office, including loyalty to Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, integrity, responsibility, professionalism, and sincere dedication to the nation and the state.
“Udayana University is currently undergoing a phase of institutional transformation and governance strengthening. Therefore, all PPPK are expected to work adaptively, collaboratively, with a strong performance orientation, and to provide the best possible services to the community,” he added.
Meanwhile, based on the report of the Head of the General Bureau of Udayana University, Ni Made Pertami Susilawati, S.E., M.M., the PPPK educational support staff consist of 130 health personnel and 686 administrative personnel. The inaugurated health personnel cover various functional positions, including doctors, dentists, nurses, midwives, health laboratory technicians, radiographers, medical record officers, as well as dental and oral therapists. The administrative personnel include functional positions such as Operational Service Officers, Operational Service Managers, Operational Service Operators, Office Administrators, and General Operational Managers.
The Inauguration and Oath-Taking Ceremony of PPPK at Udayana University in 2025 is expected to mark the beginning of renewed energy and enthusiasm in supporting the realization of Udayana University as an excellent, independent, and competitive higher education institution.
