Towards PIMNAS 33 BKM Unud Holds a Training Center for Six Qualified PKM Groups

The Student Affairs Bureau of Udayana University held a National Student Science Week 33 Training Center for two days from 19 to 20 November 2020. The training was held offline and online at Hotel Puri Ayu Denpasar. This activity is in order to prepare students to take part in the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS 33) which will be held at UGM Yogyakarta from 24 to 29 November 2020 which will take place online.

The training was attended by six PKM groups who passed, consisting of twenty students and six PKM supervisors from the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The event which was opened by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Made Sudarma, MS was also attended by the Head of Student Affairs Bureau, the Chairperson and Secretary of USCC.


On this occasion Prof. Sudarma conveyed, with the holding of this Training Center, it is hoped that students can be equipped both materially and mentally in competing at the PIMNAS level. Through the maximum preparation it is hoped that non-technical errors will no longer occur. This PIMNAS is a very important and prestigious event at the national level where last year Udayana University passed four proposals, while this year Udayana University passed six proposals, an increase of five percent in accordance with the Udayana University Strategic Plan which was launched in 2019 with four proposals, 2020. six proposals and in 2021 as many as eight proposals. PIMNAS is a soft skill that is trained in addition to the hard skills that have been obtained in college, especially to increase student creativity innovation in preparing to become graduates who of course graduate on time. The PKM program is also said to have been included in the Merdeka Campus Free Learning Program where it will be equivalent to the courses presented by the Study Programs of each Faculty. PKM is also an achievement in itself in the ranking of student affairs in addition to the accreditation of study program institutions and faculties. Prof. Sudarma also expressed his gratitude to the students who have participated and fought to the PIMNAS level.
