UTAR Malaysia Delegation Visits Unud to Explore Collaboration Opportunities

Denpasar – Universitas Udayana (Unud) received a visit from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Malaysia to explore potential strategic cooperation, particularly in the fields of education, research, and innovation development. This visit is expected to be the initial step toward strengthening academic relations between the two universities, as well as opening opportunities for synergy in the development of international programs.

The UTAR delegation present on this occasion included Irene Wong Hong Lei, Deputy Director of the Centre for International Student and Education Collaboration, and Wan Irma Sabrina Binti Idris, Head of Department of Multimedia Design and Animation, Faculty of Creative Industries. The UTAR delegation was warmly received by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information of Universitas Udayana, Prof. Made Sucipta, along with the Coordinator of the International Affairs Office (KUI), the International Development, Cooperation, and Information Systems Unit (UPIKS) of the Faculty of Engineering, UPIKS Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and the Foreign Cooperation Staff of Unud, at the International Affairs Office in the Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Wednesday (1/10/2025).

Through this meeting, Unud and UTAR discussed various collaboration opportunities, including student exchanges, joint research, and innovation development in technology and creative industries. This cooperation is expected to strengthen the international reputation of both universities while providing tangible contributions to the advancement of knowledge and the improvement of human resource quality in Indonesia and Malaysia.
