Udayana University Holds Socialization on Rector Regulation Number 8 of 2025 and SIPranayana for Business Actors
Udayana University held an online socialization event on Rector Regulation Number 8 of 2025 concerning the Procurement of Goods and Services, as well as the Udayana University Procurement Information System (SIPranayana). The event took place via Zoom Meeting on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
The event was officially opened by the Head of the General Affairs Bureau of Udayana University, Ni Made Pertami Susilawati, SE., MM. In her remarks, she expressed her appreciation to the State-Owned Goods (BMN) team for organizing the online event, which focused on Rector Regulation Number 8 of 2025. She explained that, until now, procurement activities at Udayana University have been based on Presidential Regulation No. 16 of 2018 and its amendments. However, as of July 7, 2025, Udayana University has officially launched Rector Regulation Number 8 of 2025 as the new guideline for procurement processes within the institution.
After a lengthy drafting process—including public consultations and coordination with law enforcement agencies—the regulation has been finalized and is now ready to be implemented. With the official launch, all procurement practices at Udayana University are expected to comply with the new Rector Regulation. As an initial step, a socialization session was held for business stakeholders, following an earlier internal session with university procurement officers.
“We hope this socialization can provide a clear overview. Since this is a newly implemented system, there may be some aspects that are not yet fully understood. We encourage you to communicate informally with our BMN team if you have any questions,” said the Head of the General Affairs Bureau in her message to business participants.
The session featured presentations by I Dewa Made Ary Swanjaya, Coordinator of State-Owned Goods (BMN) at Udayana University, along with the technical team behind SIPranayana. They thoroughly explained the content of the new regulation and provided technical guidance on how to use the system.
The event was attended by numerous business actors. It is expected that through this initiative, all participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the new regulation and system, contributing to a more orderly, efficient, and accountable procurement process at Udayana University.
