Udayana University Holds Socialization of Rector Regulation Number 8 of 2025 and SIPranayana
Udayana University held a socialization event for Rector Regulation No. 8 of 2025 concerning the Procurement of Goods and Services, as well as the SIPranayana (Udayana University Procurement Information System), on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Ruang Bangsa, Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus.
The event was officially opened by Head of the General Affairs Bureau of Udayana University, Ni Made Pertami Susilawati, SE., MM. In her opening remarks, she stated that Rector Regulation No. 8 of 2025 was enacted on July 7, 2025, and serves as the latest legal basis for the procurement of goods and services within the university.
“We have invited you all here so that you are well-informed about the tasks involved in procurement activities. We hope this session provides clarity and allows you to ask questions about anything that remains unclear. The BMN team and others experienced in these procedures are ready to assist each unit with the necessary information,” said the Head of the General Affairs Bureau.
She also emphasized that this new regulation is expected to offer greater flexibility and speed in the procurement process without increasing risks, as it is supported by a system designed to be fast and transparent.
A key highlight of the session was the introduction of SIPranayana, a newly developed procurement information system implemented as part of the new regulation. This system was created to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the procurement process across the university. In its development, Udayana University received technical assistance from Universitas Terbuka, which has experience in managing IT-based procurement systems.
The socialization materials were presented by Coordinator of State-Owned Assets (BMN) at Udayana University, I Dewa Made Ary Swanjaya, along with the SIPranayana technical team. They provided a detailed explanation of the new regulation and offered technical guidance on how to operate the system.
The event was attended by Commitment-Making Officials (PPK), Procurement Officers, Quality Controllers, and planners from all faculties and work units within the Rectorate of Udayana University. It is hoped that through this activity, all participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the new regulation and system, ensuring that procurement processes within the university can be carried out in a more orderly, efficient, and accountable manner.
