Udayana University Promotes Lecturer Workload Assessment (BKD)

Udayana University (Unud) held a Socialization of Lecturer Workload Assessment (BKD) in the context of recruiting Candidates for Lecturer Workload Assessors at Udayana University located in the Nation Room of the Bukit Jimbaran Unud Rectorate Building. This activity was held for two days from 26-27 January 2023 and was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja MP., IPU., and was attended by Faculty leaders, Postgraduates, Study Program Coordinators and Lecturers.

Socialization of the Lecturer's Workload Assessment presented several speakers from the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ristekdikti, namely Iwan Winardi (Coordinator of Educational Careers and Education Personnel), Prof. Eko Hadi Sujiono (Central BKD Team), Mahendra Pratama (BKD Sister Team), Santi Sayanti Agustina (Subcoordinator of Education Career Region II) and Puput Puspita Rakhman (Staff of Subcoordinator Career Educator Region II).

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Rai Maya Temaja in her speech said that Udayana University currently only has 52 BKD assessors for 1,405 lecturers and only 50 are active. Therefore Unud still needs quite a lot of BKD assessors. The purpose of this activity is to equalize the perception of Lecturer Certification Assessor Candidates in providing lecturer workload assessments and in order to increase the number of Lecturer Certification Assessors at Udayana University.

Previously, BKD reporting at Unud was still done manually, by the Directorate General of Resources, now it is made online by the Integrated Resource Information System (SISTER). This BKD SISTER provides information on the lecturer portfolio as a whole and also on the process of the lecturer in carrying out the Tridharma of Higher Education, so that each lecturer is required to report his BKD regularly through the application online. The data in SISTER will later be validated by the higher education ministry in order to avoid mistakes when filling in data and compiling portfolios. The Vice Rector through this opportunity also expressed his appreciation to the speakers who will provide guidance to Candidate Assessors at Udayana University and hoped that all Assessor Candidates could participate in this activity until it was finished.
