The Faculty of Tourism of Udayana University Collaborates with Compassion Guru Gede Prama to Hold a "Spiritual Tourism" Seminar

The Faculty of Tourism at Udayana University (Unud) collaborated with the Compassion Guru Gede Prama family to hold a seminar with the theme "Spiritual Tourism" at the Widya Sabha Auditorium, Wednesday (21/12/2022). This activity was officially opened by the Rector of Udayana University and was attended by the academic community of Udayana University, the Director and staff and students of the Bali State Polytechnic, representatives of the Tourism Association, traditional and service leaders as well as Jero Bendesa and Perbekel in the South Kuta District area.

Rector of Udayana University Prof. I Nyoman Gde Antara in his remarks said that as we all know that Udayana University consists of 13 Faculties and 1 Postgraduate Program, where one of them, namely the Faculty of Tourism, is one of the Leading Faculties at Udayana University. Of course, it is hoped that the Faculty of Tourism of Udayana University can contribute everything related to the development of tourism in Bali and at the national level.

Furthermore, the Rector said that one of the roles being carried out was to hold a seminar like what was being done this time, namely the Seminar on Spiritual Tourism. Of course, through this seminar it is hoped that tourism can grow and develop, especially on a spiritual basis. "Hopefully, this tourism spiritual seminar can contribute and revive tourism on the island of Bali," he said.

This seminar presented Guru Gede Prama as a guest speaker who explained about Spiritual Tourism. On this occasion, a performance by the Orphan Foundation "Permata Hati" was also presented, which performed the song Janger and Putri Cening Ayu accompanied by traditional Angklung music.
