Jimbaran - Wednesday (28/09/2022), at the Bangsa Room, Jimbaran Campus Rectorate Building, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Udayana University (Unud) and PT Jasa Raharja and PT Asuransi Jasaraharja Putera. The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information representing the Rector of Unud, Faculty and Postgraduate Leaders, and the President Director of Unud Hospital. From the cooperation partners, the Director of Relations and Institutions of PT Jasa Raharja and his staff was present, as well as the President Director of PT Asuransi Jasaraharja Putera and his staff.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes said the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the two partners was a strategic step taken by Udayana University in order to build synergy between universities and various companies, especially with State-Owned Enterprises, namely PT Jasa Raharja and its subsidiary PT Asuransi Jasaraharja Son. We have discussed exploring this collaboration, both with Jasa Raharja and with faculty leaders and Unud Hospital. Hopefully, the signing of this MoU will further emphasize our cooperation and synergy in providing services, the Tridarma of Higher Education and implementing the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM). It is hoped that this collaboration will not only be limited to technical matters which are service programs which are products of Jasa Raharja and Asuransi Jasaraharja Putera, but can provide benefits to the entire academic community of Unud in the context of implementing independent campus programs. The Vice Rector also said that the Rector's message that whatever cooperation was carried out should be technically to implement the Tridharma of Higher Education, but also to implement the MBKM program which is a program from the Ministry that must be implemented.

Director of Relations and Institutions of PT Jasa Raharja Munadi Herlambang said that his party as a state-owned company in the field of accident insurance, in carrying out the government's main function through the law, provides compensation to road users when an accident occurs through mandatory contributions in the STNK and mandatory contributions in the vehicle registration. travel ticket. The collaboration with the campus remembers the campus as a benchmark for the foundation where economic thinkers and other fields of science gather, which of course can contribute to how the domestic economy can run. This is a benchmark for the importance of collaboration with the academic world. Students as a community are quite large and the trend of accidents is at the student age. This needs to be done through a joint campaign to reduce the number of accidents in Indonesia. This has become our great understanding, including the agreement with WHO which has declared this accident as a pandemic that will never end and the number continues to increase. He also hopes to be able to attend Uayana University through guest lectures because it also has many experts, as well as several other annual agendas, one of which is related to research.

Meanwhile, the President Director of PT Asuransi Jasaraharja Putera, Bambang Isworo, said that Jasaraharja Putera is a subsidiary formed by Jasa Raharja to run a business in the insurance sector outside of its main duties, which have the same task of not only doing business but also providing things that are beneficial to the community. Many people are not aware of insurance and Jasaraharja Putera has a program to make people understand. His party is ready to cooperate in the form of guest lectures or other activities in providing understanding related to insurance, risks and management, investment, financial literacy not only in MSMEs but also in universities. Jasaraharja Putera does not only bear the risk on the road but also at home.
