UDAYANA UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING FACULTY OF ENGINEERING RELEASE 217 GRADUATES AT THE 146TH GRADUATION PERIOD

The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University carried out the release of 217 prospective graduates for the period of February 2022. This activity was packaged in the form of a seminar to increase the entrepreneurial spirit of graduates of the Faculty of Engineering by presenting speakers who were alumni of the Civil Engineering Study Program. This activity is carried out in a hybrid manner. This activity took place in Meeting Room II, Dean Building, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. Present at this activity, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering was accompanied by Mrs. Dean, in this case as parents of Putu Brahmanda Sudarsana, S.T. who is the best graduate of the Undergraduate Program from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program with a graduation predicate with honors, to convey an impression and message on behalf of the parents of graduates. Also present were the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, the best graduate of the Master Program in Electrical Engineering Gede Utama Laksana, S.T., M.T. with the predicate of graduation with honors and Dr. Ir. Nuryanto, S.Pd., M.T. The best graduates from the Doctor of Engineering Science Program with graduation honors with honors are present online.


A total of 217 prospective graduates came from 5 Undergraduate Study Programs, 4 Masters Programs and 1 Doctoral Program. The Information Technology undergraduate study program succeeded in graduating 44 graduates in this period. Next is the Electrical Engineering Bachelor Study Program as many as 43 graduates, the Civil Engineering Bachelor Study Program as many as 32 graduates, the Architecture Bachelor Study Program as many as 30 people and 18 Mechanical Engineering graduates. Graduates from the Master's Program, namely the Master of Civil Engineering graduated as many as 24 people. Next 10 people from the Master of Architecture Program, 7 people from the Master of Electrical Engineering and 4 people from the Master of Mechanical Engineering Study Program. The Doctoral Program in Engineering has successfully graduated 5 graduates. This activity is the first graduation for all Study Program Coordinators at the Faculty of Engineering who were newly inaugurated on January 18, 2022 to accompany graduates online through the webex application.


Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D in his remarks congratulated all parents for the success of their children taking education in one of the study programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University and felt happy and proud of the success of 217 graduates of the Faculty of Engineering taking part. part of the 146th Graduation event. The Dean emphasized on graduates to always prioritize "honesty and work with heart" when later graduates pursue careers in the world of work. Whatever profession the graduates will be in, they must always remember these 2 keys to success. Sudarsana also asked that graduates always improve their 6 (six) main abilities/skills to face competition in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 known as 6C-skills (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creative thinking, computational logic and compassion) and mastery of 3 New Literacy (data, technology and human literacy).


As a basic knowledge for graduates before a career in industry as well as a form of academic responsibility, the Faculty of Engineering organizes online alumni sharing activities at the end of the session. Mr. Ir. Djoko Witjaksono was present as a carrier of knowledge during this period. Djoko Witjaksono is the Deputy Division Manager of Business and Development at PT. Wijaya Karya Rekayasa Konstruksi. In his presentation of knowledge, this Alumni of the Civil Engineering Study Program batch 94 provides knowledge about professional development and career paths that have been taken in the industrial world as well as tips for dealing with and preparing to accept opportunities in industry.
