Accreditation Field Assessment of Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University


The Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes) conducted a field assessment in the context of Accreditation of the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This accreditation is carried out to maintain and improve the quality of education and services at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.


The opening ceremony was held in Dr. A A Made Djelantik, FK Unud-Denpasar Building, where the field assessment by LAM-PTKes will be held for 2 days from 21 to 22 September 2023 with 2 assessors, namely:

1. Prof. Dr. Budi Mulyono, Sp.PK (K)., M.M. (assessor 1)

2.Dr. Dr. Agnes Rengga Indrati, Sp.PK(K)., M.Kes. (assessor 2)


The event began with remarks from the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, FK Unud, Dr. Dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K) and opened by the Chancellor of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.IPU.


Dr. Eka in his speech said that the accreditation process is a quality assurance process which aims to produce graduates who are desired by society who are competent and qualified.

"We ask that the assessor team provide as much input and direction as possible so that in the future the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University can make better development efforts. We hope that the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University can obtain superior accreditation " he said.


Meanwhile Prof. Antara said that Udayana University really supports education at the Faculty of Medicine by continuing to provide support from human resources and infrastructure.

"We hope that with the performance of the study program and support from the Department and other stakeholders, the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University can get a superior score." he said


After being opened by the Chancellor, the event continued with a presentation by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, FK Unud regarding the general description of the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS), as well as a presentation from the Coordinator of the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program, Dr. Dr. Sianny Herawati, S.Ked., Sp.PK(K)., regarding the profile of the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program.


This activity was also attended by Representatives of the Main Director of RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, Director of Human Resources and Academics at Unud Hospital, Main Director of Unud RSGM, Chair of LP3M Unud, Head of USDI, Head of Unud Library, Director and representatives of network hospitals, Chair of the Faculty of Medicine Senate, Deputy Deans of FK Unud, Study Program Coordinators, Coordinators Unit, and the entire Accreditation Task Force Team.


The assessment agenda for the first day is;

1. Meeting of the assessor team with the leadership of the study program management unit and practical facility.

2. Discussion of the assessor team with the leadership of the Study Program management unit.

3. Assessor Questions and Answers with SPMI (Internal Quality Assurance System) and UPPS

4. Discussions with graduate users regarding Hospitals & Educational Facilities, Alumni

5. Interviews and assessments of the adequacy of educational staff regarding academic and non-academic services.

6. Interviews and assessments with students representing all students from each class regarding academic and non-academic services.

7. Visits to learning facilities and infrastructure and student activities.
