Pharmacy Student Wins 1st Place in Pharmaplast 2023 Educational Video in Surabaya

Tuesday, 3 May 2023. The Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University once again made an achievements at the national level. Allysia Maria Vianney Putri, Mulan Gevika Amara Putri, and Putu Dani Paramartha Wijaya, these outstanding students successfully surpass the other participants from various universities. They came out as 1st place in the 2023 PHARMAPLAST Educational Video category which was organized by the PGRI Adi Buana University Pharmacy Student Association, Surabaya.

This Educational Video work made by the Udayana Pharmacy Student team raised the theme of "various efforts to prevent stunting or malnutrition". Allysia et al conducted a review and study of the literature on the results of the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) conducted by the Ministry of Health. It can be seen that even though the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia has fallen from 24.4% in 2021 to 21.6% in 2022, this figure still exceeds the stunting prevalence threshold set by WHO, which is 20%. For this reason, Allisya et al are of course of course necessary to take immediate steps or efforts to reduce the national prevalence rate so that it meets WHO standards as outlined in the form of an educational video.

In the guidebook, Pharmacy UNIPA Present Contest (PHARMAPLAST) is mentioned as a contest held by the PGRI Adi Buana University Pharmacy Student Association in Surabaya with the aim of improving the quality of students as the next generation of the nation. In this competition it is expected to create a more effective educational climate by creating a stimulus for those who have a competitive spirit.
