Rector of Unud Holds Audience with the Regent of Badung to Discuss Asset Utilization Collaboration

Badung – The Rector of Udayana University, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, together with the Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, the Director and Deputy Director of BPU, the Rector’s Expert Staff for Asset and Financial Empowerment, the Director of Unud Hospital and his team, as well as the Coordinator for Cooperation and Public Relations, held an audience with the Regent of Badung on Tuesday (25/11/2025). The meeting was received directly by the Regent of Badung, I Wayan Adi Arnawa, and his officials at the Regent’s Meeting Room, Badung Government Center (Puspem Badung). This audience served as a follow-up visit, as the Regent and his team had previously visited Udayana University in August and had the opportunity to review the university’s facilities, including Unud Hospital and other assets.

Rector Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana stated that the purpose of this audience was to follow up on previous discussions held at Udayana University regarding potential collaboration between Unud and the Badung Regency Government. During the meeting, the Rector expressed hope that Unud Hospital could eventually serve the people of Badung, and therefore requested the Regent’s support for the hospital’s operational needs. He also conveyed various potential collaboration opportunities that could be developed by both parties.

Meanwhile, Regent I Wayan Adi Arnawa expressed his strong interest in collaborating with Udayana University, particularly in the utilization of Unud Hospital to support healthcare services for the people of Badung Regency, especially in South Badung. The Regent also shared several strategic programs planned for the southern region of Badung that could be collaboratively implemented with Udayana University.
