Unud and Several Universities Establish Collaboration with PT Dirgantara Indonesia
Bali, 25 November 2025 — Udayana University has established a partnership with PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI), marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding during a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) organized by PT Dirgantara Indonesia at Anathera Resort Kuta Bali. This event represents an important step in strengthening collaboration between PTDI, higher education institutions, and stakeholders in the aviation and transportation sectors.
The event, attended by relevant government agencies, industry players, and university leaders, aimed to encourage stronger research, education, and competency development in the fields of airworthiness, aircraft operations, and the national aviation industry.
The FGD began with an opening session, followed by remarks from the President Director of PTDI and the Head of the Bali Provincial Transportation Office, as well as the presentation of souvenirs to the speakers. The program continued with four presentation sessions delivered by several strategic institutions, including the Directorate of Airworthiness and Aircraft Operation, the Directorate of Research and Community Service under the Directorate General of Research and Development, and other related industries.
On this occasion, the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information of Udayana University, Prof. Dr.Eng. Ir. Made Sucipta, S.T., M.T., IPM, attended the event on behalf of the Rector of Unud as a demonstration of the university’s commitment to expanding collaborations and actively participating in the development of the national research and innovation ecosystem, particularly in the fields of technology and air transportation.
The highlight of the event was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the President Director of PTDI and leaders of participating universities, including Udayana University. This collaboration is expected to open opportunities in education, research, human resource competency development, and the creation of programs that support the needs of the modern aviation industry.
The event concluded with a group photo session and is expected to serve as the beginning of ongoing synergy between universities and industry to strengthen national competitiveness.
