This year, the BAPOMI Bali contingent consists of athletes from 15 universities, participating in 15 out of the 17 sports contested. The Committee Chair expressed hope that the BAPOMI Bali athletes will achieve outstanding results at POMNAS XIX 2025 and bring pride to the name of Bali on the national stage.

Head of LLDIKTI Region VIII, I Gusti Lanang Bagus Eratodi, stated that the participation of 15 universities—both public and private—demonstrates a real commitment to improving student achievements, especially in the context of performance indicators from the Directorate General of Higher Education (Dikti), particularly in the science and technology sector. He emphasized that one of the key indicators is the number and scale of student achievements at the national and international levels. His office will continue to monitor and support student development under the concept of “Dikti Saintek Berdampak” (Impactful Science and Technology Higher Education), aiming not only to foster a healthy and competitive spirit among youth and students but also to cultivate a strong sense of determination and sportsmanship.

Chairman of BAPOMI Bali, Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, SP., M.Agr, delivered an inspiring message, stating that these athletes are the best ambassadors of Bali—representatives of all university students across the Island of the Gods—entrusted with a noble mission to bring pride to Bali through sporting achievements. He emphasized that POMNAS is more than just a competition; it is a platform to showcase fighting spirit, sportsmanship, and resilience. "Every drop of sweat during training is proof of your extraordinary commitment and dedication. Remember, on your shoulders rest the hopes of the people of Bali, especially the academic community of your respective universities," he said.

"We believe that, under the guidance of your dedicated coaches and officials, you are ready physically and mentally—to face any challenge. Never be afraid. Face each match with your head held high, show your best performance, and most importantly, enjoy the journey. Stay united, foster team spirit, and always uphold sportsmanship. Victory and defeat are part of the game, but honesty and honor are paramount. Let this experience be a valuable lesson for your future," he encouraged the athletes.

Chairman of KONI Bali, I Gusti Ngurah Oka Darmawan, affirmed that KONI fully supports the POMNAS XIX initiative, including in terms of funding. Coordination has been in place from the beginning, considering that the Provincial Sports Week (PORPROV) is being held from September 9–17, 2025. Once PORPROV concludes, athletes can proceed directly to POMNAS in Central Java. He stressed that the selected athletes are all outstanding performers and urged them to uphold Bali’s good name.
