FIBAA Team Conducts On-site Visit to Udayana University

Jimbaran – Udayana University received an on-site visit from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) team on Wednesday and Thursday (June 25–26, 2025). This visit was part of the international accreditation process by FIBAA targeting six study programs within the Faculty of Cultural Sciences and the Faculty of Law at Udayana University. The six programs are the Bachelor of English Literature, Bachelor of Japanese Literature, Bachelor of Indonesian Literature, Bachelor of Law, Master of Law, and Doctorate of Law programs.

The Rector of Udayana University, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, welcomed the FIBAA team on the first day at the Lecture Building on Bukit Jimbaran Campus. In his remarks, the Rector explained that the FIBAA accreditation aims to improve the quality of higher education management in accordance with national and international standards. Through this accreditation process, Udayana University provides high-quality educational services that enhance the competitiveness of its graduates globally. Additionally, obtaining this accreditation plays a crucial role in the university’s development, aligning with its transformation into a state university with legal entity status (PTN BH).

The Rector added that becoming a world-class university is Udayana University’s vision to create an educational institution that positively impacts society. According to him, the roadmap to becoming a world-class university begins with the transformation into a PTN BH and the enhancement of the research ecosystem through various centers of excellence.

“With our commitment to continuously improve the quality of education, we are confident of receiving a favorable evaluation in the FIBAA accreditation. Achieving this international accreditation will significantly enhance our institutional quality and pave the way for Udayana University’s future,” the Rector concluded.

The Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, I Nyoman Aryawibawa, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, also presented the strengths of their respective study programs to the FIBAA team. Following the welcoming and introductions, the FIBAA team visited various units within the Bukit Jimbaran Campus, including the Lecture Building, Rectorate Building, Library Building, and University Hospital. These visits were related to the management of educational services, which is one aspect of the FIBAA accreditation assessment.
