Udayana University For the Third Time Held Online Graduation and Release 1,108 Graduates

Jimbaran - Udayana University (Unud) held its 138th Graduation Ceremony online for 1,108 graduates, Saturday (24/10/2020). This online graduation is the third time held by Udayana University, considering that currently it is still in the Covid-19 pandemic era. In this graduation procession, the number of participants allowed to attend directly was 15 graduates and their families. The graduates who attended were the best graduates from each Faculty and Postgraduate Program. In this 138th graduation, the Rector of Udayana University released 1,108 graduates consisting of 29 Diplomas, 658 Bachelor's, 188 Professions, 22 Specialists, 171 Masters and 40 Doctorates. With this the number of Udayana University alumni to date is 99,659 people. Graduates who take part in the online procession are also required to wear a gown and broadcast live one by one on the screen for those whose videos are online at the time of reading the Decree.

Graduates who graduate will be given digital copies of diplomas, digital copies of value transcripts and digital copies of alumni cards. This digital copy will be uploaded and can be downloaded through the IMISSU account of each graduate. The original documents will be submitted at a later date by means of a notification with due regard to the situation and conditions.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng in his report said that today's graduates are dominated by 605 women, while only 503 male graduates. In terms of academic achievement, the average GPA for women is 3.67, while the average GPA for men is only 3.59. In terms of study period, the average study period for women is 7.83 semesters while for men the study period is longer, namely 8.88 semesters. In this graduation ceremony, there were 212 graduates who received the Cum Laude predicate and 142 graduates who received educational scholarships. The Vice Chancellor hopes that through the education that graduates take, they will not only master science but also have an intelligent life with polite and useful karma for society.

Meanwhile, Udayana University Rector Prof. Dr. dr. A.A Raka Sudewi, Sp.S (K) in his speech hoped that the graduates who graduated today have a character and commitment and take part in improving the welfare of the community. Using the knowledge that has been obtained to make an innovation that is useful in the welfare of society, nation and state.
