STRENGTHENING SPMI, LP3M UNUD DONE BENCHMARKING TO UNS AND UGM

Solo / Yogya - Udayana University Institute for Learning and Quality Assurance (LP3M) conducted a benchmarking of the Eleven March University (UNS) Solo, (8/11) in order to internationalize the study program, and strengthen SPMI at Udayana University. UNS Sola was chosen considering that UNS is one of the universities that has had a Certificate of AUN-QA Associate Membership since September 2016 and has also obtained a Certificate of Registration bsi, in addition 4 of its Study Programs have also been certified AUN-QA. The Unud group was led by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng and Chairperson of the Unud LP3M were received by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Drs. Sutarno, M.Sc., Ph.D and Chair of the UNS Solo Educational Quality Assurance Development and Development Institute, Prof. Ir. Muhammad Nizam, MT., Ph.D., MIEEE. IPM. During a visit to the UNS Solo, the Unud Team obtained information about the strategy of building a quality culture to support international certification, as well as about the implementation of the SPMI and its monitoring process and the application of diploma companion certificates.

The benchmarking was continued to Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta (9/11), the Unud group was received by the Head of the UGM Quality Assurance Office (KJM), Prof. Dr. Indra Wijaya Kusuma, M.B.A. UGM is one of the universities whose 41 programs have obtained AUN-QA certificates and 22 Internationally accredited Study Programs and there are no accredited Study Programs C. In this visit sharing sessions related to the SPMI (Internal Quality Assurance System) and AMI (Internal Quality Audit) and policies were conducted. and strategies for strengthening quality assurance at Udayana University. On this occasion the Unud Team obtained information related to the implementation of the UGM Higher Education Quality Assurance System, the Internal Quality Assurance Cycle, the SPMI UGM Stages, the Study Evaluation Program, integrated AMI, the Accreditation Preparation Stages, the Stages of Building a Quality Culture and the SPMI UGM Implementation Ideas.

After benchmarking the two well-known universities in Indonesia, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs immediately held a meeting with the Chair of the LP3M and all the teams present to discuss future steps to be taken in an effort to strengthen SPMI at Udayana University. The Vice Rector hopes that through this activity it is expected to be able to support the acceleration of the internationalization of the program and the strengthening of SPMI at Udayana University.
