Denpasar - Wednesday (11/04/2018), Rector of Udayana University accompanied by Dean of Faculty of Tourism received visit of Consul General of China Bali new, Mr. Gou Haudong. The meeting was to introduce the new Chinese Consul General as well as discuss the development of cooperation with universities in China.

A visit to Udayana University is devoted to improving cooperation with Udayana University. Through this opportunity also discussed new fields that can be collaborated between Udayana University and the University in China, according to the Consul General at the meeting. To be more familiar with the campus, it is also planned to visit the faculties of Udayana University.

Rector of Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. A A. Raka Sudewi, Sp.S (K) on the occasion gave an appreciation for the cooperation that has been established quite well and welcomed the desire of the Chinese Consul General to develop more specific cooperation and continue the existing cooperation. Cooperation that has been established through the China Tourism Training Center in terms of learning Mandarin and cultural exchange.

Udayana University has excellent program of Cultural Tourism which is in accordance with the principal scientific pattern of the University ie culture, and through language learning we can get to know other nation's culture like China. Therefore, the Rector hopes that cooperation can also be developed in the field of joint research. (HM)
