DIRJEN IPTEK RESOURCES AND HIGHER EDUCATION KEMENRISTEKDIKTI GAVE DIRECTIONS IN RAPIM UNUD

Jimbaran - Wednesday (04/04/2018), Director General of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Kemenristekdikti during his visit to Udayana University attended the Leadership Meeting at Rectorate Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. In the meeting which was attended by all leaders of Udayana University, Dirjen gave direction which related to human resource development, facilities and infrastructure and absorption achievement of Rector performance contract with Kemenristek Dikti.

Director General of Science and Technology and Higher Education Resources, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dr. Ali Ghufrom Mukti M.Sc., Ph.D also said that the number of Professors should be improved, therefore the Deans are expected to encourage the lecturers who are ready and fulfill the requirements to be immediately submitted to the Professor level. So far the unmet requirements are the field of research, and many lecturers have difficulties in preparing methodologies and research materials.

Kemenristekdikti has various programs such as World Class Professor inviting world class professors to foster young lecturer consisting of A: program from Noble Laurates, inviting Nobel laureate to develop science and technology related to industry, and program B: inviting outside professors personally. The Ministry has issued a rule that a professor should write, in 1 year should be 1 indexed publication. It is hoped that the Faculty will encourage lecturers to use the assistance from Dikti. In addition, the Director General also encourages Unud to utilize the PMDSU program (Master's Degree Toward a Doctorate for a Superior Scholar).

After the meeting with the leadership of Udayana University, accompanied by the Rector of Udayana University, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Director of Unud Hospital, Director General visited the two buildings to see the operating room facilities and ICU and Poli Mata.
