Nationally, Permenristekdikti No 44 of 2015 on National Standards of Higher Education (SN Dikti) will be enforced starting in 2018. This requires every university to immediately implement the Education Standards of Higher Education (SN Dikti) in a consistent and sustainable. Udayana University has developed Udayana University Higher Education Standards (SN Dikti), consisting of 31 standards with 177 standard items that qualitatively and quantitatively have exceeded the SNPT.

Udayana University Higher Education Standards are an integral part of Udayana University's Quality Assurance System (SPMI), which is normatively run through 5 steps in the SPMI cycle: Standard Setting, Standard Implementation, Standard Implementation Evaluation, Standard Implementation and Standard Improvement (PPEPP) Control. This cycle is always repeating to reflect consistent and continuous quality improvement cycle at Unud.

To run the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at Unud, the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute conducted Internal Audit Quality Auditor Training, an Evaluation section of the PPEPP cycle. The trainees were lecturers in Udayana University, who are committed to guarding the quality in the environment of Udayana University. The event was held in the Meeting Room of Agriculture Faculty, Agrokomplek Unud Building, for 3 days from 13-15 September 2017. This 3 days activity started with the spreading and refreshing of SPMI National Policy, National Standard of Higher Education (Dikti) and Higher Education Standard (SPT ), as well as Internal Quality Audit Material (AMI) that provided by the National Facilitator Directorate of Quality Assurance Kemenristekdikti (Prof. Dr. drh Nyoman Sadra Darmawan and Dr. I Wayan Suardana, S.Par, M.Par) and Chairman of Development Institution Unud's Quality Learning and Quality Assessment (Ir I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D). The second day of AMI was to each Faculty in Udayana University and 3rd day was a response to the findings of the quality audit found by AMI auditors by the head of the related faculty. The output of this activity was the formation of Audit Internal Auditor which is professional and competent as well as the availability of the impelementation port of DIKTI UNUD which can be used as the basis in determining the virtue to create the quality culture in Unud.
