Absorption Consultant, Unud Made a Cooperation With INKINDO Bali

Denpasar (22/05/2017) - Udayana University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Indonesian National Association of Consultants (INKINDO) Bali at Harris Hotel, Jl. Cokroaminoto Denpasar. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was held on the sidelines of the Working Meeting of INKINDO Bali Province 2017 with the theme of "Synergize in Achieving the Great Opportunity". The event was attended by Deputy Rector IV Unud, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Unud, Chairman of INKINDO National Council, Chairman of LPJK Bali, Chairman of Kadin Bali, Chairman of DPP INKINDO Bali and Representative of INKINDO DKI Jakarta and East Java.

Chairman of DPP INKINDO Bali, Ir. Ketut Gupta conveyed that the Raker was the second meeting of INKINDO Bali to discuss the evaluation of the programs that have been implemented and the refresher code of ethics to avoid conflict of interest. On the same occasion, Ketut Gupta gave appreciation to Universitas Udayana who cooperated with INKINDO which was marked by the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties. Ketut Gupta further conveyed that Higher Education is a source of knowledge and is also a major support of the human resources in the development of consulting services. Through this activity Ketut Gupta invites Higher Education jointly develop the services sector of consultants in Bali.


 

The same thing was also conveyed by the Chairman of the National Council of INKINDO, Ir. Nugroho Puji Raharjo. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding is an important and indispensable thing in the history of consultant growth that is not far from the growth of universities. Universities are not necessarily competent in implementing knowledge, so the synergy between INKINDO with Higher Education is very necessary for the implementation of various activities, especially in terms of consultant services. Through cooperation with universities is expected to grow the development of consultant services, especially in Bali.

Deputy Rector IV of Udayana University, Prof. Drs. I Made Suastra, Ph.D conveyed through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding that many can be equated in the field of consultants, especially for the Faculty of Engineering Unud who graduates are prospective consultants. INKINDO can be a place for students to do the work practices and sources of employment. Prof. Made Suastra hopes that this cooperation can facilitate work practices and accommodate Unud graduates who will work as consultants.

Dean of Faculty of Engineering Unud, Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, MT, Ph.D added that previously had been initiated in cooperation with INKINDO Bali Province especially in the field of human resources. During this time INKINDO has a difficulty of human resources in the field of mechanical engineering, especially in Bali. In line with the cooperation of both parties signed today, one of the needs of the human resources will be met by the Faculty of Engineering both from lecturers and alumnus. This cooperation will be better because there is a synergy from industry and education. To realize this will be followed up with the Cooperation Agreement (MCC) in order to support all stakeholders who need construction consultant and mechanical engineering or other engineering fields.(PR)
