Another proud achievement has been secured by young entrepreneurs of Udayana University. The Bio-Safe Team, previously selected as Bali’s representative after a rigorous screening process at the Entrepreneur Hub (E-Hub), successfully won 2nd Place at the National Jagoan Lokal Competition.

Bio-Safe’s success at the national level underscores the quality and competitiveness of Udayana University’s young entrepreneurs in creating impactful and sustainable innovations. Jagoan Lokal itself is a national competition aimed at discovering and developing outstanding young entrepreneurs from across Indonesia.

In addition, Udayana University also received an award from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia as a 2025 E-Hub Collaborator in the Higher Education category. This award was given in recognition of Udayana University’s commitment and contribution to fostering high-quality young entrepreneurs through continuous synergy and mentorship.

The award was presented during the 2025 Inspirational Entrepreneur Appreciation Event in Jakarta on Monday (1/12/2025). The event took place at JS Luwansa Hotel & Convention Center, South Jakarta, and was attended in a hybrid format by approximately 1,000 participants, including financial institutions, business entities, associations, entrepreneurial communities, incubators, universities, as well as inspirational entrepreneur nominees from across the country. Their presence turned this event into more than just a ceremony—it became a major collaborative forum that strengthened the spirit of MSME empowerment.

The Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Maman Abdurrahman, emphasized that courage is the primary capital for creating great Indonesian entrepreneurs. He highlighted the importance of fostering optimism among entrepreneurs. The 2025 Inspirational Entrepreneur Appreciation event serves as a momentum to reinforce creativity, innovation, and the spirit of business actors throughout Indonesia.

Throughout 2025, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, through the Deputy for Entrepreneurship, provided facilitation and mentoring to 6,926 entrepreneurs, carried out across 73 activities in 12 provinces. The program also involved collaboration with 34 partners through the Entrepreneur Hub platform.

The Minister also expressed appreciation for the support of various stakeholders, including financial institutions and private corporate partners, as an essential part of building a mutually reinforcing entrepreneurial ecosystem. Cross-sector collaboration is considered crucial for accelerating MSME growth. In 2026, the government will continue to drive acceleration while conducting a comprehensive evaluation of MSME strengthening programs to further optimize results.
