Digital Innovations Sapatani and SiGapura Support Bali’s Net Zero Emission Vision 2045

The event “Launch and Dissemination of Research Results of the Digital Solutions Project for Strengthening Rice Supply Chain Governance in Bali Province” was held in Denpasar on November 11, 2025. This initiative is a collaboration between the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia, and CSIRO Data 61, with funding support from KONEKSI and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

The digital solutions launched include the Sapatani platform and new features added to the SiGapura platform. These innovations are expected to enhance the governance of the rice supply chain in Bali Province, supporting the Bali Net Zero Emission 2045 vision and the Kerthi Bali Economic Transformation agenda—particularly the pillars of Productive Bali and Bali Smart Island.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, S.P., M.Agr., Vice Rector for Student Affairs of Udayana University; I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Tomi Haryadi, Director of Food, Land, and Water at WRI Indonesia; Dr. Paskal Kleden, Head of Stakeholder Management at KONEKSI; and Mr. Dimas Suryo from the Directorate of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas).

In addition, the event was attended by academics and researchers from Udayana University, WRI Indonesia, and CSIRO, as well as various stakeholders from government agencies, research institutions, civil society organizations, and representatives of pekaseh (subak leaders) and farmers.
