Kemdikbudristek Holds Coordination Meeting and Policy Consolidation on Budgeting for Fiscal Year 2026
Badung – The Rector of Udayana University, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, along with the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information, the Head of the Finance and Asset Management Bureau (BPKU), and the Planning Team, attended the Coordination Meeting and Policy Consolidation on Budgeting for the Fiscal Year 2026 organized by the Planning and Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). The event was held at The Patra Bali Resort & Villas, Kuta, on June 24–25, 2025.
This meeting aimed to formulate a more effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable budgeting policy for Kemdiktisaintek, aligning with the theme and policy direction of the Government Work Plan (RKP) and the fiscal policy theme for 2026. It emphasized the need for harmonization and synchronization of ministerial/institutional (K/L) expenditure policies to reflect a shared commitment to aligning the central government’s spending direction.
The meeting was officially opened by the Secretary General of Kemdiktisaintek, Prof. Togar M. Simatupang, who delivered a keynote address outlining the Policy Direction and Strategy of Kemdiktisaintek, as well as its Priority Programs.
The event also featured several speakers, including representatives from Bappenas PTI, the Directorate General of Budget (DJA), and the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPB) along with the Directorate of State Assets (DSP). The 2026 RKP theme is:
"Food and Energy Sovereignty and a Productive and Inclusive Economy."
