Inauguration of the Head of the Udayana University Student Affairs Bureau

Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance of Udayana University Prof. Dr. I Gusti Bagus Wiksuana, SE., MS inaugurated one official Friday (25/3/2022) in Nusantara Room, Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. The inaugurated officials are Drs. I Ketut Kartika as Head of the Udayana University Student Affairs Bureau.

The inauguration and handover ceremony was held offline by implementing the Covid-19 prevention health protocol. This event was attended by the Chair of the Senate, Vice Rectors, Head of SPI, Heads of Bureaus, Deans, Director of Postgraduates, Heads of Institutions, Director of Business Management Agency, President Director of Unud Hospital, Heads of UPT and USDI, Coordinator of KUI, PPK Construction and Non Construction, Expert Staff for Asset Empowerment, Expert Staff for Planning and Finance, Spokesperson for the Rector, MBKM Program Coordinator and Dharma Wanita Persatuan Udayana University.

The event began with the reading of the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology by the Human Resources Coordinator of Udayana University. Subsequently, the oath of office was taken by the Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance and the signing of the minutes of the oath of office by Drs. I Ketut Kartika as the new Head of the Student Affairs Bureau.

Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance Prof. Dr. I Gusti Bagus Wiksuana, SE., MS congratulated the new Head of the Student Affairs Bureau. This inauguration is the culmination of previous activities in the selection process for the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, where previously the Rector of Udayana University appointed the Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance as the chairman of the selection committee, where the selection committee consisted of elements of the Ministry of Home Affairs in this case represented by the Badung Regional Secretary, then from the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology was represented by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI), and from the community element represented by dr. I Nyoman Arcana, Sp.Biok. Of the three candidates who took part in the selection of the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, finally the one chosen and determined by the Minister of Education and Culture, Research and Technology, namely Drs. I Ketut Kartika. In addition, it was also conveyed that the future challenges for the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau are getting tougher where there is currently an Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program where students are expected not only to study theory on their own campus but students must study in the field, company or place required by the Ministry of Education and Culture, in addition to Therefore, PTNs must also be required to involve 30 percent of existing students to take part in MBKM activities because it is one of the components in the Rector's main performance indicators.
