International Program Sport and Physiotherapy Summer Semester 2022 Undergraduate Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine Udayana University

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University through the Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Profession Undergraduate Study Program successfully held the first offline International Program after the COVID-19 pandemic that hit in early 2020 and in collaboration with the StudyinBali agency, Dortmund, Germany.

 

This program begins with the implementation of Orientation Day in the Prof. Meeting Room. dr. I Gusti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, which was attended by 14 international students from various European countries including Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, and Switzerland. The orientation day aims to introduce international students to the academic environment as part of the academic community of Udayana University and the Faculty of Medicine.

 

The event was opened by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information at FK Unud, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D who in his speech said that the implementation of this international program was the trigger for the implementation of other international programs in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also warmly welcomed the arrival of these international students. “I am very happy with your arrival, I hope you get new experiences and knowledge while studying at the Faculty of Medicine and feel Balinese Culture by not forgetting the importance of maintaining health while studying here by emphasizing the principle of travel health. Welcome and enjoy the beauty of Bali”, said Prof. Adi Wirawan.

 

The event continued with the presentation of material regarding the Overview of Study in Udayana University for International Students by the Head of the Office of International Affairs (KUI) Mrs. Dr.eng Ni Nyoman Pujianiki, ST., MT., M.Meng and material on "VISA and immigration services" by Mr. Eka Ariady Putra, S.P from KUI and representatives from Bali Business Consulting (BBC).

 

This activity was also attended by the Coordinator of the Physiotherapy Undergraduate Study Program and the Physiotherapy Profession, Dr. dr. Agung Wiwiek Indrayani, S.Ked, M.Kes., Head of the Information and Communication Management Unit (UPIKS) FK Unud, Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, M.Kes, and the Head of the Physiotherapy Department, Ftr. Ari Wibawa, SSt.Ft, M.Fis.
