Guest Lecture “Will Nursing Remain Relevant In The Future”

 

Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and Nurse Professional Education, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University invited (Professor Emeritus) Rozzano C. Locsin, RN, Ph.D, FAAN from Florida Atlantic University, USA., to give lectures and discuss the latest developments in the field of Utilization of Nursing Technology in the Future takes place in Dr. A A. Made Djelantik, Faculty of Medicine Building, Denpasar. (11/4/2023)

 

The purpose of holding this event is to be able to provide new experiences and insights for students and lecturers, as well as help improve the quality of education and research in the field of nursing.

 

Also through this program, students and lecturers will be able to gain new knowledge and experience from leading experts and practitioners in the field of nursing. Thus, it is hoped that students and lecturers will be more prepared and competent in facing future challenges, and can make a greater contribution to the development of science and technology in the field of nursing.

 

The event was opened directly by the Dean of FK Unud, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., who on this occasion said that the role of nursing staff in the world of health is very much needed, because problems in the world of health are definitely caused by many factors so collaboration between doctors and nurses is very important.

 

"I hope that the knowledge from Prof. Rozzano will be of use to our students and teaching staff to increase their knowledge and competence as reliable nursing staff," he said.

 

After it was opened, the event continued with presentations by resource persons which were connected with discussion sessions which were attended by all participants from among lecturers and undergraduate nursing students.
