Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) Lab Training

 

In order to increase the knowledge of educational staff and laboratory staff in supporting the implementation of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), the Skill Lab Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) Lab Training at Room N.A. Bagiada, Cakra Vidya Usadha Building, FK Unud, Denpasar. (9/11/2022)

 

The training participants came from 15 education staff and laboratory staff and presented dr. Agus Eka Darwinata, S.Ked., Ph.D as resource person.

 

The OSCE Lab Training began with remarks by the Coordinator of the Skill Lab Unit, Dr. dr. I Gusti Ayu Artini, M.Sc, who said that the purpose of this event was to advance the knowledge of education staff and laboratory assistants in the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University who served as laboratory assistants in local OSCE exams, National OSCE exams, and UKMPPD exams.

 

It was followed by remarks from the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D, who said that the education staff is an inseparable unit and must support each other, and always go hand in hand so that the process can run as expected.

 

"We have high hopes that this event can be sustainable in the future because the role of laboratory staff is very important to facilitate the OSCE exam both locally and nationally. We hope that the participants of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) Laboratories training will listen carefully to the presentations from the speakers and this activity can be optimally useful and provide supplies for laboratory participants in assisting the implementation of the OSCE exam process at FK Unud," said Prof. Ady, who also marked the official opening of the training.
