Academic Supervisor Training to Improve Guidance and Counseling Quality at FK Unud

 

In order to develop teaching staff in terms of academic guidance, the Medical Undergraduate Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine Unud held a hybrid "Academic Supervisor Training in the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University" with the main location point in room 3.02, FK Building, Denpasar. (27/7/2022)

 

According to the chairman of the committee, Dr. dr. Nyoman Suryawati, M.Kes., Sp.KK (K), FINSDV, FAADV., there are 3 (three) main objectives of implementing this training, namely:

1. Provide socialization and common understanding/perceptions regarding the role of Academic Advisory Lecturers

2. Provide socialization of the flow of academic guidance from the undergraduate level to the professional level

3. Provide training on how to facilitate student guidance online and offline.

 

This event was attended and opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., Coordinator of the Bachelor of Medicine Study Program, dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., and 115 participants from the teaching staff at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

 

Present as resource persons in this training are:

1. Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D.,

2. dr. I Gde Haryo Ganesha, S.Ked, MPHE

3. Dr. Kunthi Yuliani, Sp.FM

 

On this occasion Prof. Ady said that this training is very important so that participants can conduct academic guidance well so that they can improve the quality of our students.

 

"Hopefully this activity will run smoothly and what is the purpose of holding this event can be achieved so that the participants gain good knowledge about academic guidance." he said.
