Accreditation of the Cardiology and Blood Vessel Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine Udayana University

 

The Independent Accreditation Institute for Health Higher Education (LAM-PTKes) conducted a field assessment in the context of the accreditation of the Cardiology and Blood Vessel Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This accreditation is carried out in order to maintain and improve the quality of education and services at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

 

Located in dr. A A Made Djelantik, FK Building, Denpasar, Field Assessment by LAM-PTKes was held for 2 days from 22 to 23 July 2022 with 2 assessors, namely:

1. Prof. Dr. dr. Maimun Syukri, Sp.PD-KGH, FINASIM. (Assessor 1)

2. Prof. dr. Linda Wilhelmina Ancella Rotty, Sp.PD-KHOM (Assessor 2)

 

The event began with remarks from the Dean of the Unud Medical Faculty, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes and opened by the Chancellor of Unud, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., IPU

 

In his speech, Dr. Januartha said that accreditation is a mandate of law and must be followed by all educational institutions to ensure the process of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and in accordance with the standard rules that have been set.

“Today, the Faculty of Medicine invites an Assessor Team to help find gaps that we will use as a reference for the development of a better study program in the future. And we ask for as many inputs as possible so that this becomes a provision for the study program as an effort to make continuous improvements," he said.

 

Meanwhile, Prof. Antara expressed his hope that the presence of the assessor team could directly provide benchmarks and directions for the development of the Heart and Blood Vessel Specialist Study Program and other study programs in general. Another hope is that this field assessment process can be carried out optimally.

"We will push for excellent study programs to become International Accreditations. Our hope is, of course, that the assessor team will provide input and objective views for the progress of the study program, so that the Heart and Blood Vessel Specialist Study Program can get superior scores," he said.

 

This activity was also attended by the Director of Human Resources and Education at Sanglah Hospital, Representatives of the Director of Unud Hospital, Head of LP3M Unud, Head of USDI, Head of the Unud Library, Director and Representatives of the Network Hospital, Deputy Deans of FK Unud, Heads of Departments, Study Program Coordinators , Unit Coordinators, and the entire Accreditation Task Force Team.

 

Today's assessment agenda is;

1. Assessor team meeting with the head of the study program management unit,

2.Confirmation with internal quality assurance implementer

3. Confirmation with (middle) management of UPPS, Study Program

4. Confirm with graduate users

5. Confirmation with lecturers, and education staff

6. Interview with students
