World No Tobacco Day 2022

 

The Special Division of the Student Community Concerned about Tobacco Hazards, the Public Health Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, is holding the 2022 World No Tobacco Day. The series of HTTS 2022 activities consist of the World No Tobacco Day Competition, the HTTS Podcast, and the 2022 HTTS Peak. The purpose of the No Tobacco Day activity Worldwide in 2022, namely to increase public knowledge and awareness about the dangers of tobacco to health, creating a society that is responsive to the problem health problems caused by smoking habits in order to minimize the number of smokers, and to commemorate World No Tobacco Day.

The first series of activities, namely the World No Tobacco Day Competition, consisted of a TikTok Competition with the theme “Let's Take The Action to Protect Our Generation from Tobacco with Creating The Smoke Free Environment” and a Poster Competition with the theme “Challenge Our Self to Create The Healthy and Worthy. Environment from The Dangers of Tobacco”. Registration for the WNTD Competition wave 1 is open from 07-28 April 2022 and the Finalization will be held on 21 May 2022 through Zoom Cloud Meetings.

The second series of activities is the HTTS Podcast with the theme "Stop Smoking, Let's Spreading! The Benefit from Smoke Free Environment to Increase The Quality of Our Educational Environment”. The HTTS 2022 podcast will be broadcast live through the HMKM FK Unud YouTube channel on May 31, 2022 at 19.00 WITA with the speaker presented, namely I Komang Trisna Angga Pradipta as Deputy Chair of the BEM FK Unud and moderator namely Luh Putu Sintya Devi Agustin as Head of DK KMPT HMKM FK Unud.

The highlight of HTTS is the last series of activities from HTTS 2022 which will be held on June 11, 2022 at Kuta Art Market Beach. The highlight of HTTS 2022 carries the theme "Let's Build Smoke Free Environment for The Better Health Degree of Our Generation" with a series of activities carried out at the peak, namely community service activities, such as cleaning the beach from cigarette butts and educating the public regarding the dangers of smoking and voicing smoke free beach. The peak activity of HTTS 2022 began with an opening filled with remarks, community service activities, and at the end of the event filled with entertainment performances which were offerings from active students of PSSKM FK Unud.

The summit of HTTS 2022 was attended by dr. I Wayan Darta as Plt. The Head of the Badung District Health Office who also opened this activity, dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, S.Ked., M.P.H., Ph.D as Coordinator of PSSKM FK Unud and Chair of Udayana Central, Dr. I Made Kerta Duana, SKM, MPH as Trustee of DK KMPT HMKM FK Unud, Bendesa Adat Kuta represented by Mr. Dewa Putu Gede Putra as Secretary of Traditional Village of Kuta, Chair and Deputy Chairperson of BEM FK Unud, Chair of HMKM FK Unud, Chair of HMKM Universitas Dyana Pura, member of the Bali Cyber ??Media Association, and representatives of student institutions, student associations, and semi-autonomous bodies within the Faculty of Medicine Unud.
