The Synergy of Unud Medical Faculty and Unud Hospital Brings Smiles to the Children of the Nation

The Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, University of Udayana in collaboration with Unud Hospital held a community service for cleft lip and palate surgery, located at Unud Hospital Jimbaran (19/5/2022) with the theme "Restore the Smiles of the Nation's Children."

 

This event was attended by the Chancellor of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng, IPU, CEO of NMW Group, Yoyo Suryaki Hendrarsin, President Director of Udayana University Hospital, Prof. Dr. dr. I Dewa Made Sukrama, M.Sc., Sp.MK(K)., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. I Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., Head of the Bali-Nusra branch of PERAPI, Supervisory Board of Unud Hospital, Head of the Spokesperson Team for the Chancellor of Unud, Head of the Department of Surgery, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy, Coordinator of the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program and Aesthetics, Coordinator of the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Specialist Education Study Program, and Chair of the 2022 Cleft Lip and Cleft Social Service Committee.

 

In his remarks, the Chancellor said that this activity was held to celebrate the National Awakening Day on May 20 and is expected to help improve the quality of life for people with cleft lip and palate.

 

“Hopefully we can cooperate with more partners, because we cannot move alone. Hopefully in the future there will be more social services like this with other health themes, so that it really supports hospitals in providing community service,” he said.
