Udayana University Wins Five Awards at the 2025 Diktisaintek Awards

Jakarta – Udayana University once again recorded an outstanding achievement at the 2025 Diktisaintek Awards, securing five awards across several strategic categories. This accomplishment underscores Unud’s commitment to strengthening research and innovation, ensuring accountable financial governance, expanding international cooperation, and delivering informative, high-quality public relations management.

The award presentation was attended directly by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Brian Yuliarto, Ph.D., along with ministry officials. The awards were received by representatives of Udayana University at the ceremony held in Jakarta on Friday (December 19, 2025).

In his remarks, Minister Prof. Brian Yuliarto stated that the event marked a very important moment for all, serving as a form of appreciation for all members of the extended family of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. He emphasized that collaboration among university leaders and students, industry partners, and media colleagues—each contributing in their own way—has played a significant role in advancing higher education, science, and technology in Indonesia.

“This award is certainly not the finish line of our shared journey. Rather, it is a marker that the government’s trust— the nation’s trust— in all of you present here continues to grow,” said Prof. Brian.

On the same occasion, the Minister also expressed his appreciation to all university leaders and staff who have worked hard with dedication and sincerity to advance higher education in Indonesia.

At the 2025 Diktisaintek Awards, Udayana University received several honors. In the Research and Development (R&D) category, Unud achieved Gold Winner for the Independent Academic Cluster Higher Education Institution with the Highest Scientific Publication Score for the 2022–2024 period. Additionally, Unud earned Bronze Winner in the Acceleration of Independent Academic Cluster Higher Education Institutions category for achieving the Highest Increase in SINTA Score during the 2022–2024 period.

In the area of governance, Udayana University secured Third Best in the Finance and State-Owned Assets (BMN) category for the Best Implementation of Follow-Up Actions on Audit Results of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). This award reflects Unud’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and compliance with regulations.

Achievements were also recorded in global collaboration. In the Cooperation Awards category, Udayana University was named Bronze Winner for Best International Cooperation, recognizing its sustained efforts to expand impactful international networks and partnerships.

Meanwhile, in the Public Relations Awards category, Udayana University once again received Bronze Winner for Best Website, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to providing accurate, accessible, and community-oriented public information services.

The achievement of five awards at the 2025 Diktisaintek Awards represents the collective synergy of the entire academic community of Udayana University in realizing excellent, competitive higher education with tangible impact for society, the nation, and the state.
