Welcoming National Education Day, Udayana University is Ready to Contribute Advancing The Education

Welcoming National Education Day in 2nd of May, Udayana University implemented Morning Apel in  Rector's front yard, Bukit Jimbaran Campus, Thursday (05/02/2019). This morning Apel was attended by all teaching lecturers and education staff in Udayana University.

Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng served as a Ceremony leader today deliver the Mandate of  Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education. In his speech, he conveyed that universities have a role in building quality human resources to be able to compete in the community and have an entrepreneurial spirit. This is a college response to 4.0 industrial revolution that demands fast-moving human resources in line with the development of information technology today. "In principle, higher education institutions are required to adapt 4.0 industrial revolution, they must adapt more and use information technology," explained Prof. He added that advancing higher education is a contribution in advancing Indonesia.

In this morning Apel also held the Awarding of Satyalancana Karya Satya Honor to 107 educators and education staff at Udayana University. The awarding of the Satyalancana Karya Satya Honor is given in accordance with the Decree of President of  Republic Indonesia for state civil apparatus who have served the country.

"The awarding of Satyalancana is an award from the state to serving civil servants who serves the community. Of course we feel very happy that the government respects our service, "said Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes, Postgraduate Director of Udayana University, one of the recipients of Satyalancana Honorary Award. (dsk, ad)
