Final Performance Show in the Selection of Veterinary Outstanding Students at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana University 2022, Going tight to Determines FVM Representatives at the University Level.

FVM Udayana - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM), University of Udayana held the Veterinary Achievement Student Selection Event (PILMAVET) of 2022, which took place in the Maxilla Room, 4th Floor, FVM. The event, which carries the theme "Creating a Solutive Generation with the Implementation of SDGs in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0", has opened registration since March 25th. "The number of participants who registered was 18 people and after passing the selection stage one, five names were obtained who would compete in second phase," said Made Ramadhinita Desrianti as Chair of the PILMAVET Committee.

 

Wednesday, 09 March 2022 second phase of the PILMAVET event was carried out by inviting the jury, namely Drh. Putu Henrywaesa Sudipa, M.Si, Drh. I Wayan Nico Fajar Gunawan, M.Si, and Trikomala Sari, DVM, MS PhD. Also, invite the dean and student senate. This event started with a prayer together and was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs FVM Udayana.

 

“I hope that in the future the participants can learn from the judges how to control the stage so that they are confident and not awkward. I also believe that the participants who have entered the top five are the chosen people and do have a focus in the world of veterinary medicine. Thank you to Ikayana who has provided support and thank you also to all the committees who have tried to prepare for this activity," said Dr. drh. I Wayan Sudira, M.Si as Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University. In addition to being attended by the dean and the student senate, drh. I Wayan Yustisia Semarariana, M.Si as the Chair of the Ikayana FVM Unud was also present.

 

 

 

“Today's series of events has been good and the participants have also shown their best. The hope of the alumni, of course, is that whoever becomes the winner can speak more at the university level. Then we also hope that in the future these outstanding students can be prepared for a long time, which is two years. So, if there are students who have projects, they can be fostered. So that later it will not only present the idea, but also the existing product. This can also be realized if lecturers and seniors are willing to participate and help," said I Wayan Yustisia S as Chair of IKAYANA FVM Unud. Furthermore, this activity was followed by a presentation of the work and a question and answer session by the participants and the judges.

 

  

In this second phase, participants are not only judged from the intellectual aspect, but also from the creative ideas and mastery of foreign languages that they will display in the presentation of the work. The five participants who passed the second stage were I Made Bagi Rate, Viany Ekklesia Pangaribuan, Kadek Ferdy Agastia Dwi Pratama, Wanda Audina Putri, and Ni Made Sri Werdi Astuti.

 

 

 

It was seen that the five participants took lottery numbers which would determine the order in which they appeared. The first participant is an active student from the 2021 batch named Ni Made Sri Werdi Astuti. In the presentation of his work, he raised a creative idea about "Smart School Program: Love Reading.", then there were active students from the class of 2019 who also appeared, namely I Made Bagi Rate who presented his creative idea on "Education and Prevention: Choosing Food-Quality Meat Through the Role of Communication Media to Realize SDGs 2030 and Indonesia Gold 2045.”

 

 

The judges also seem quite difficult to determine who will be the winner in this PILMAVET 2022 event. In the end, one name became the winner, namely Wanda Audina Putri with a total score of 908.33, followed by Kadek Ferdy Agastia Dwi Pratama with a total score of

875.167 as the 2nd place, and I Made Bagi Rate with a total score of 843.33 as the 3rd place winner.

 

Wanda Audina Putri won 1st place with the title of creative idea, namely "One Pet One Dollar". "This creative idea started because of the high rate of abandonment of pets, so I wanted to create a movement based on the adoption of abandoned animals by offering a certain amount of money to adopters," said Wanda Audina Putri when presenting her idea.
