TPB Study Program Students, Socialize How to Make Ecoenzymes and Compost Fertilizer in Tihingan Village, Klungkung Through the MBKM Bina Desa Program

Students of the Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program (TPB) Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University (FTP Unud) who are members of the MBKM Bina Desa program group socialize how to make ecoenzymes and compost in Tihingan Village, Klungkung Regency, Bajarangkan District which will be held from April to July 2023 as a form of practicing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially as a concrete form of community service experience.

 

MBKM Bina Desa is a program that aims to provide learning and increase the capacity of student organizations in rural community empowerment ecosystems based on village superior products. Activities carried out by students who are members of the MBKM Bina Desa Program Group of TPB Study Program are in the form of socialization on how to make ecoenzymes and compost and their benefits and uses. This activity was attended by 10 students participating in Village Development for the Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering study program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, consisting of Oktavianus Erwin Chrisdana Kusuma as chairman, Komang Pasek Wirasutha, Komang Trisna Wibawa, Adelia Lany Diana, Julia Angelica Septia Turnip, Rio Jestan Siallagan, Markus Apriantoni Hutabarat, Erni Yanti Friska Zagoto, Ida Bagus Andika Virga Pranadipta and Muhamamd Farhuzzikri. AN who was accompanied by a companion lecturer, Mr. Ir. I Wayan Tika, M.P. and the village headman along with several village officials.

 

 

One of the student representatives, Oktavianus Erwin Chrisdana Kusuma as the group leader reported that the purpose of holding the socialization activity was so that people would know how important it is to maintain nutrition and care for plants for higher quality yields and another goal is to help reduce the amount of organic waste so that it can be reused as ecoenzymes and compost. He also added that the community's response was fairly good, accepting our arrival with pleasure at this activity. "Because the community is still unfamiliar with this activity, we hope that by carrying out this activity it can improve people's welfare and be able to overcome the problem of household waste by processing it into useful products," he said.
