Developing the Potential of Tulikup Village and Sidan Village, Unud FTP Lecturer Carried Out Community Service

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology has carried out Community Service on 7th May 2023 at the Meranggi Banjar Hall in Tulikup Village. The theme of the activities is Steps Together for Real Change. This activity was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and attended by1st, 2nd and 3rd Deputy Deans of FTP Udayana University, Heads of KWT Tulikup and Sidan Village and their members, Coordinators of each Study Program and Lecturers at the FTP Udayana University and Heads of Student Institutions at the FTP Environment Unud.

 

The Community Service carried out aims to develop the potential of Sidan Village and Tulikup Village. On this occasion, all Study Programs in the FTP Unud Environment collaborated and provided training in order to increase the potential possessed by the Village. The Undergraduate Program in Food Technology provides training regarding the Introduction to Processing Purple Sweet Potatoes into PMT Biscuits and Dried Noodles from Moringa Leaves given by Dr. Ni Nyoman Puspawati, S.TP., M.Si., Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, represented by Mrs. Dr. Ir. Amna Hartatii, M.P. provided training related to the Marketing Strategy for Biscuit and Dried Noodle Products, besides that the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Study Program was represented by Ida Ayu Gede Bintang Madrini, S.TP., M.Agr., PhD. provided training on the Process of Making Eco Enzymes from Waste Purple Sweet Potato and Orange Peels as well as the Food Technology Masters Study Program represented by Ir. Ida Bagus Wayan Gunam, M.P., Ph.D. provide training related to the process of making wine from purple yams. Apart from the training, there was also a demonstration of making purple sweet potato biscuits and moringa noodles.

 

 

Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Prof. Ir. I Made Anom Sutrisna Wijaya, M.App,Sc., Ph.D. hopes that through this activity it can provide benefits, especially for Sidan Village and Tulikup Village to develop the potential possessed by related Villages, besides that it is also hoped that activities like this can continue to be carried out in order to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and apply research results by FTP Unud Lecturers who later it can be useful and useful for village communities to develop the potentials possessed by the village, he said.
