Implementing GNPIP, Lecturers of FTP Udayana University Collaborated with Bank Indonesia Held Training on Chili Product Downstreaming at the Sekar Tunjung Farmer Group, Tabanan

 

In the context of implementing the National Movement for Food Inflation Control (GNPIP) to support the stability of commodity prices for Volatile Foods, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University, in collaboration with Bank Indonesia, held a Chili Product Downstream Training which covered the processing of dried chilies, packaging and natural product preservation at the Sekar Tunjung Farmer Group , Baturiti, Tabanan. This activity was carried out on Friday, 18th  November 2022 at Banjar Bengah, Baturiti Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency. Participants in the activity were members of the Sekar Tunjung Farmers Group, Baturiti, Tabanan along with representatives from Bank Indonesia, Bali Province.

 

This activity took the lecturer of the Agroindustrial Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University as the speaker, Dr. Ir. Luh Putu Wrasiati, M.P., who was accompanied by a team of Mrs. Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb., Mr. I Made Surya Pramana Mahardika, S.TP., M.Sc and Ni Made Dwi Aryanti, S.TP., in training on Chili Processing into Chili Powder and Chilli Flakes.

 

 

Mrs. Ir. Luh Putu Wrasiati, M.P. she hoped that the collaboration would be beneficial for the Sekar Tunjung Farmer Group, Baturiti, Tabanan, besides that she also hoped that this activity could increase the productivity of the Sekar Tunjung Farmer Group and the products produced could become superior products and characteristics of the Sekar Tunjung Farmer Group. She also hopes that the collaboration that is being carried out with Bank Indonesia can continue not only in the field of Community Service but can also be carried out in other fields such as Research or Education, she said.
