Held Industrial Visits for Process Engineering and Natural Materials Technology Courses, TIP FTP Unud Study Program Visited Urban Asia Industry Company

Agroindustrial Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University (TIP FTP Unud) held an industrial visit for Process Engineering and Biological Materials Technology courses on Thursday, November 10th , 2022 which was attended by 31 5th Semester Students. This activity was received directly by PJS of Urban Asia Industries Company Apt. I Gede Dhananjaya Putra, S.Farm and the staff.

 

In this industrial visit, students received an explanation of the company profile, sources of raw materials, production processes, types of products, packaging and marketing carried out by  Urban Asia Industry Company. In addition, students also gain additional knowledge and insight about modern machines used for the production and packaging of cosmetics. After conducting a question and answer session with the management, the students went on a factory tour guided by the production manager of Urban Asia Industry Company. This visit activity was accompanied by Mrs. Dr. Ir. Luh Putu Wrasiati, M.P. as the supervisor of the Process Engineering and Biological Materials Technology Course along with the Coordinator of Upiks FTP Unud, Mrs. Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb and the UPIKS FTP Unud team, Mrs. Putu Julyantika Nica Dewi, S.TP., M.TP.

 

Urban Asia Industry Company is a manufacturing industry which is engaged in cosmetic maklon. It is the largest industry in Eastern Indonesia, located at Br. Pekilen, Selanbawak Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency - Bali. The production process uses quality and safe materials with safe procedures and international standards so that the resulting products can have a good impact on Indonesian businesses and society. Some of the products produced are MS Glow, mskids Kids Protection, and MS Cosmetic by MS Glow Beauty.

 

 

Mrs. Ir. Luh Putu Wrasiati, M.P. say thank you to Urban Asia Industri Company because it has provided opportunities for students to visit and add insight regarding the production process, types of products, packaging and marketing as well as modern machines used for the production and packaging of cosmetics so that students can engage in activities and gain experiences outside of campus. also hope that this positive activity can continue and in the future there can be collaboration between Urban Asia Industry Company with FTP Unud both in the fields of education, research and community service.
