Udayana Political Science Conducts Assessment to the Indonesian General Election Commission

Jakarta, In order to build cooperation, as well as a follow-up to the previous successful program at the General Election Commission of Bali Province, the Udayana Political Science Study Program carried out a visit and submitted a memorandum of understanding to the General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia. In the midst of preparations for the stages that will take place tonight, the Political Science Study Program at Udayana University held a meeting with the Indonesian General Elections Commission in the context of exploring the MoU with Udayana University. In this momentum, cooperation between the two parties is very much needed, in addition to increasing the experience and knowledge of students in preparation for the 2024 election in the MBKM apprenticeship scheme or independently, this collaboration can help increase the effectiveness of the work of the Indonesian General Elections Commission.

The exploratory activity which took place at the RI General Elections Commission Building, was attended by the Coordinator of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit, Gede Indra Pramana, S.IP., M.A. This collaborative effort was welcomed by Ir. Dohardo Pakpahan, M.Sc., as Head of Inter-Agency Relations Division of the Indonesian General Elections Commission, together with Yuliana Indramurti, as Head of Sub-Division of Inter-Agency Relations of the Indonesian General Elections Commission. As for the things that became the topic of discussion between the two parties, namely the requirements and administrative completeness needed for either the MBKM apprenticeship scheme or the independent apprenticeship scheme at the Indonesian General Elections Commission.

It is hoped that the output of this activity can run optimally and bring benefits to both parties. By exploring this collaboration, both parties can benefit the community, and provide experience to students, especially in the electoral process. (tr)
