The meeting was attended by the Rector, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Acting Head of LP3M, and the organizing committee. This meeting discussed the implementation of the online assessment scheduled to take place from September 23–25, 2025, as part of the international accreditation process by FIBAA.
Project Manager Made Diah Lestari stated that this online assessment will evaluate the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the Faculty of Tourism (FPar). Various technical preparations, simulations, and coordination efforts are continuously being carried out to ensure the success of this international accreditation process.
The Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D., noted that the preparations made by the teams from LP3M, FEB, and FPar have been progressing well. He expressed that the university leadership fully supports all ongoing efforts that have been a shared commitment over the past two years to achieve international accreditation. He emphasized the need to continue technical rehearsals and simulations to deliver the best possible outcome.
"We, the university leadership, are fully committed to realizing this international accreditation, as it is one of our programs aimed at gaining international recognition for Udayana University," he explained.
He also emphasized that the accreditation process should not be feared, as Udayana University regularly conducts External Quality Assurance System (SPME) evaluations to determine the feasibility and quality of its academic programs. Therefore, this accreditation process must be undertaken as a form of accountability to the public in ensuring academic quality assurance.
"As a form of public trust, we must be accountable through quality assurance or SPME that meets international FIBAA standards," the Rector added.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Dr. I Wayan Suardana, SST.Par., M.Par., and the Head of FEB's Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M), Ni Nyoman Reni Suasih, reported that preparations are still ongoing in anticipation of the international accreditation.
