Faculty of Law, Udayana University Celebrates 61st Anniversary with the Theme 'Together We Grow Stronger'

Jimbaran – The Faculty of Law at Udayana University celebrated its 61st Anniversary on Sunday, September 14, 2025, with a peak event held at the Faculty’s Dean’s Lawn on the Jimbaran Campus.
The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Vice Deans and staff, members of the Senate, professors, lecturers, administrative staff, and students.

The anniversary series began with a Community Service Program held on September 6, 2025, at the Dharma Jati II Orphanage in Tohpati, Denpasar. The activity was warmly welcomed by the children and served as a tangible expression of the Faculty of Law's social responsibility.
Following that, on September 12, 2025, a Public Lecture was held, featuring Damos Dumoli Agusman, S.H., M.A., Ph.D., Director General of International Treaties at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, who delivered an insightful presentation on current issues in international law.

The peak celebration of the 61st Dies Natalis took place on September 14, 2025, at the Faculty of Law, Udayana University. The celebration included a Fun Walk and a Retirement Appreciation Ceremony, honoring faculty members who have dedicated their service and made significant contributions to the development of the Faculty of Law.

The main event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Sc., Ph.D., representing the Rector of Udayana University. In his remarks, the Vice Rector emphasized that this commemorative event is not only a celebration of the Faculty’s founding but also a moment to reflect on its long journey and to chart a course for the future.

“Congratulations on the successful organization of the 61st Faculty of Law Family Gathering. At 61 years of age, the Faculty of Law has become one of the proudest units at Udayana University. Great expectations lie here, as all accreditation milestones have been achieved—including international accreditation—and the Faculty is now also preparing to launch international programs,” he stated.

The Chairperson of the 61st Anniversary Organizing Committee, Dr. I Wayan Novy Purwanto, S.H., M.Kn., in his report, expressed appreciation to all committee members, academic community members, alumni, and partners who actively contributed to the success of the event series.

“We hope the sense of togetherness we’ve built continues to grow stronger, enabling the Faculty of Law at Udayana University to develop further and make an even greater impact in the future,” he said.

On this occasion, the Chairperson also conveyed that the entire series of the 61st Anniversary events was made possible through the support and participation of many parties. The celebration is expected to become a new milestone in strengthening unity and enthusiasm to continue contributing to the advancement of the faculty, the university, and society at large.
