KKN-PPM XXXI in Cau Belayu Village Collaborates with the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, to Hold a Socialization on Environmentally Friendly Agriculture
Tabanan, July 26, 2025 – The 31st Community Service Learning Program (KKN-PPM XXXI) group in Cau Belayu Village, in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture at Udayana University, held a community service event in the form of a socialization program themed “Environmentally Friendly Agriculture: A Case Study on Simantri” on Saturday, July 26, 2025. The event took place at the Wantilan of Pura Luhur Pucak Geni, Cau Belayu Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency.
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, I Putu Sudiarta, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D, and was also attended by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs at Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, S.P., M.Agr., along with several lecturers from the Faculty of Agriculture.
The main speaker for the event, Dr. I Gede Setiawan Adi Putra, S.P., M.Si., delivered a presentation on the implementation of sustainable agriculture concepts using the Simantri (Integrated Cattle and Crop System) as a case study. The socialization was followed by a practical training session on compost-making, utilizing livestock manure and household organic waste, as a concrete step toward implementing environmentally friendly agricultural practices at the village level.
