Under the scheme, the provincial government will provide an education allowance of IDR 1 million per student. Additionally, students from Denpasar and Badung will receive a living allowance of IDR 1.4 million per month, while those in Buleleng and Karangasem will receive IDR 1.2 million per month valid for up to eight semesters.
Governor Koster expressed hope that the program will be accurately targeted. He noted that the provincial government and partner universities have established strict eligibility criteria and that verification will be conducted by the universities. He also expressed appreciation to the university leaders for contributing to the development of high-quality human resources in Bali.
