Udayana University Welcomes Delegation from Beijing Polytechnic University, Establishes Strategic Collaboration
Jimbaran — Udayana University (Unud) welcomed a delegation from Beijing Polytechnic University (BPU), a leading vocational education institution from China, to explore strategic collaboration opportunities across multiple fields. The visit took place on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the Language Room, Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus.
The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information of Udayana University, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, as well as the Director of TCI Indonesia and the Director of TCI China.

In his welcoming remarks, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes expressed appreciation for the visit and emphasized the importance of international collaboration initiatives in addressing global challenges in education and technology.
Prof. Adiatmika stated,
“Beijing Polytechnic University is one of the leading vocational institutions in Beijing. They are seeking opportunities to collaborate with Udayana University in various sectors such as aeronautical technology, underwater technology, agriculture, economics, basic research, pharmacy, and medicine. That’s why we have invited the relevant faculties to engage in direct dialogue with the delegation. We hope this meeting will lead to concrete forms of collaboration, including joint research, student exchanges, and community-based program implementation.”
Several proposed discussion topics brought by BPU included:

Agricultural facility development and smart farming

Study of agricultural park management and operational mechanisms for campus-industry partnerships

Exploration of value-added agricultural product processing

Promotion of organic agricultural technology

The BPU delegation also introduced various technological applications that are already widely used at the global level and have the potential to be adopted and further developed in Bali and Indonesia.
This meeting is expected to serve as the starting point for a long-term collaboration between Udayana University and Beijing Polytechnic University, in support of vocational education and applied research tailored to the needs of communities and industries.
