Improving the Quality of Research and Service Governance, LPPM Udayana University Holds FGD Research and Community Service Guidelines Edition VIII 2022

The Research and Community Service Institute of Udayana University (LPPM Unud) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Research and Community Service Guidelines for Udayana University Edition VIII 2022, located at Sthala, Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud, Bali, Friday (21/10). /2022). This FGD activity was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, the Chair and Secretary of the Unud LPPM, the Head of the LPPM ISI Denpasar, the Chair of the Warmadewa University LPPM, the Bali Provincial Government Bappeda Representatives, the Deans, the Deputy Director I of Postgraduate, the Coordins of Study Programs and the UP2M in Unud. The FGD was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP.

In his remarks and directions, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP., conveyed the importance of this FGD to get various inputs to improve the quality of research management and community service at Udayana University, so that the implementation is more effective and efficient, including the implementation of monitoring and evaluation. It is hoped that the FGDs will produce the best guidelines so that they can become a common reference in the management of research and service at Unud.

Prof. Dr. dr. I Nyoman Suarsana, MSi., in his report stated that there were several changes to the new Research and Community Service Guidelines, including the use of Turnitin in proposal submissions, the SINTA Score in the requirements for submitting Research Grant Proposals and one of the assessment points, incorporating several new grants in 2017. 2022, and gave rise to assignment grants in dealing with all Unud lecturers doing research. The Chairperson of LPPM also greatly appreciated the Guidance Team who had successfully completed the Draft Revised Guidelines on time.

The FGD presented a resource person, Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Faiz Syuaib, M.Agr., Director of Research, Technology, Community Service, DRTPM Kemendikbud Ristek, delivered material on "Transformation of Business Processes and Program Governance and Performance of DRTPM", the second resource person, Ir. Ida Bagus Wayan Gunam, MP, Ph.D., Head of the Guide Drafting Team, delivered the material: "Draft Guidelines for Research and Community Service at Udayana University, Edition VIII 2022". As moderator Ir. Ni Made Ary Esta Dewi Wirastuti, ST., MSc., PhD., IPM. (Secretary of LPPM Unud) and Dr.Eng. I Made Gatot Karohika, ST, MT. (Guidance Team Member).
